Alky 06-15-2005 12:18 PM

i thought you were getting rid of studio cash?

Terry 06-15-2005 12:19 PM

I would buy a bag of chips instead.. but I also don't play cards.. so don't listen to me.

emthree 06-15-2005 12:20 PM

Fiddy bucks

pradaboy 06-15-2005 12:21 PM

yes poker is big, but a name is only worth something when it gets type-ins or generates revenue. I can harldy imagine anyone typing in .org.uk since most of the people around here did not even know that extension exists.

Nicky 06-15-2005 12:23 PM

sure poker is big, but its a .org.uk

if it would have been .co.uk we would be talking other figures

sickkittens 06-15-2005 12:23 PM

Not much.

polle54 06-15-2005 12:24 PM

Sorry man but thats a really crappy domain it's worse than a good three word domain dot com

Right, it's a UK extension....UK people know about it. hehe.

It's equivlant to holdem.org, except with the added UK extension.

nico-t 06-15-2005 12:35 PM

i never really got into the uk domains etc., why does the uk have those double extensions?

uno 06-15-2005 12:36 PM

You should have claimed 2257 as your defense for quitting StudioCash because of GFY flames instead of your epiphany.

2257 would have sounded more real. :2 cents: At least one company sent out an email today using that as their excuse for closing.

virginia 06-15-2005 12:49 PM

poker is getting big everywhere especially in Canada since we can't sit around two or three times a week watching hockey. I have no idea what it would be worth but you could probably find someone to buy it. People will buy anything

So because a person can walk away from money, that is not real?

MetaformX 06-15-2005 12:53 PM

Address.co.uk sold for $13000 this week.
EngineeringJobs.co.uk sold for $8000 this week.

Yes and what exactly is the organisatory nature of a poker domain?

The common extension in the UK is .co.uk

I thought the reason you were selling it was because it made no money, you lied and got called on it again and again...

Right, I understand that. :)

The difference between a .org and .com is alot, just curious to see how much it might be worth.

Is that why everyone and their mother is interested in purchasing StudioCash?

You seem a little hostile.

MetaformX 06-15-2005 01:01 PM

So I guess the answer to my question is it's worth $10 on GFY. ;)

Nah, i've been staring at code all day and am kinda bored. As far as I know my mom isn't interested in StudioCash. I don't have much of an opinion of the whole thing either way. Only thought the entire thing was insanely funny. Did you ever admit to the whole 200 sales a day thing being a lie?

I think sans traffic and revenue stats, the value of this name is going to hinge on finding someone willing to develop this .org.uk domain.

There is no denying that "holdem" is a great keyword. :thumbsup

vvq 06-15-2005 02:05 PM

.org.uk ewww :(
