does anyone here still use teletext ( video-text ) on his TV?
I used to do it regularly in my pre-internet days few years ago.

As far as I know there is no tele/videotext in the U.S. |
I've barely ever used it... years ago maybe once a year to check snow conditions in holiday places, but nowadays you have all the information you need on the net like you said.

All the news, some funny news, music news, music charts, soccer leage results across whole Europe, even jokes when I was a kid. ah... memories :upsidedow |
I do sometimes, to check the current Euro-Dollar rate before I go to sleep.

Sometimes for the weatherforcast or TV programme. :)

I use it every day. Mostly to see what time it is thought :winkwink:
But I also check the headlines. |
While I almost never watch TV, I still use teletext occasionally.
|
When I wanna know what's on tv and I don't happen to be on my digi-tv at that moment.
