Use 2257 for political advantage

Here is an idea I had.

Thousands of webmasters are nuking entire sites/directories/folders etc due to the new 2257. This equates to MILLIONS of impressions on now defunked pages.

Each one of these surfers clearly likes porn and many are American and voters. So why not explain on your new 404 pages that Bush and his administration are the reason their porn is now gone urge them to vote his ass out of office the next time around.

Im sure collectively we have HUGE REACH to the American voting public - numbers that would make even the most experienced political wonk drool over. It would be great to drive the point home to our surfers why their porn is gone and maybe give them pause the next time they are in the voting booth.

It wont win the battle but could help win the war.

Just my :2 cents:

Im sure there are more than a few republican/christian/rightwing spankers out there :upsidedow

Ummmm, not sure how things work in Seattle, but in the rest of the united states no one is going to get a chance to vote for or against gw bush ever again. We have something called a 2 term limit.

Pretty good idea, actually, but yeah, would've worked better during his 1st term.

Well obviously.... but the issue is to attack the rightwing/conservative platform. This includes the upcoming congressional elections. I can also assure you that the next GOP presidential candidate is going to appeal to "values" in exactly the same way the current administration did.
