Investing in Stocks???
 

It's been 5 years since I invested in the stock market. Who is investing and in what?

Just long term low risk stocks. Most of them I have had for 15+ years.

What companies?

SNE (sony)
COKE (coca-cola)
PEP (pepsi)
GE (general electric)
PCG (pacific gas & electric)

So on.

I bought some QBID.pk and CMKX.pk a while ago...

they're sleeping real hard!

My real money is managed by pros. My fun money I take risks with. I like Pharm stocks like LLY, PFE, and a bunch of small companies with promise of ground breaking cancer drugs.

I like GE, SYY, and FON (held them all since 9/11/01) for safe plays.

bought GNSS today

the wild west of the Pinks. i don't have the balls for that.

index funds like SPY or QQQQ are great :thumbsup

They were in the 70s in '01.

High yield bond funds. You get the higher yield but the default risk is spread out among many issues.

I bought a shit load of AMD stock.

I just bought 800 shares of Dreamworks yesterday. Should be a good hold.

I sold my all my Google shares today, since I had a stop at 271.

I tried so hard to get IPO shares of that. I'm sure you made some nice $$$. good for you :thumbsup

mix, i have been trading this thing on and off for months now. I have made a nice amount just messing around with it.

exbd, have had this for a long time. Great company, great long term play. Still rising.

that's all I do during the day is trade! I'm only in minerals, metals, and gas..oh and aim trimark...

You don't have to wait for the IPO price to buy, a week or so after it opened it was back at the opening price.

goog ( and i bought a drop more today at 269 which is 10% of its high), shld (listen to kramer), glw, affx, lcav, ndaq, tol, stmp and tpx

Sears Holdings (SHLD) *Lots of Kmarts to close/convert good land
CitiGroup (C) *Another big time profit company I like those!
Gap (GPS) *Good cash position and brand names = possible growth
AIG (AIG) *800 pound insurance gorilla, get it while its down
AMD (AMD) *Intel leads sector but AMD is gaining in server CPU sales
