Ok their is a major glitch in the states system used to report your tickets to the insurance companies. Let me tell you how to take advantage of this. If you get a ticket pay it by mail but pay $5 or so too much. You will get the amount you over paid in the mail a few days later. DO NOT CASH THIS CHECK! Let me tell you why... The way the system works is it keeps your account open and when the account is closed the ticket is reported to the insurance agency. As long as you never cash the check the system will always keep your account open which means you will never be reported to the insurance company (I guess they assumed 100% of the people would cash their checks.) This error would cost the state millions of dollars to fix which they do not want to do since the state really isnt loosing out nor do very many know about this yet. Well until my GFY post that is. try out it next time you get a ticket, you'll see what i mean. :thumbsup

this has got to be one of the oldest urban legends in the world.

This is an older than dirt story - I've tried it before and ot doesn't work. Very creative but no such luck. Once a ticket is on your record it is there and after securing the amount of the ticket it shows up as complete. How do I know for sure....I've had 15+ speeding tickets in 9 years and 20 or so other bullshit tickets. The only way to win is take it to court and hope the cop doesn't show or argue your case, (I have won twice arguing against cops). However, the last ticket I got in Ohio, the ticketing officer was no longer required to show up - you are bascially guilty because they said so.

This is an old sham padawan. A lot of people know about the pay too much sham.
