Who here has seen Floyd live?
Who has seen Pink Floyd live? Past or present... anything counts.
Let me know the year and location of the show.... http://www.batterseapowerstation.org.uk/animals1.jpg |
have seen them in Prague few years ago - thier sound was excellent - I couldn't believe its not CD man.It was division bell tour - means without Roger Waters.
Anyway they are no pink floyd without Roger for me .... |
I saw Gilmour at the recent 50th Anniversary of Fender gig. Other than that I saw them once at Knebworth in 1989 or 1990
|
dont remember the year I was really stonned most of the time
LOL was the momentary lapse of reason tour and the played at Giants Stadium |

Coincidence given the pic you used... I saw their Animals concert at Wembley Stadium. Must have been almost 30 years ago.
|
Miami, Orange Bowl around 1986 or 1987.
|
I've seen Pink Floyd a half dozen times...
Best concerts ever!!! Incredible sound and the lightshow, props, etc. just really added to the show. Best memory...I saw them play two nights in a row outdoors when they played the Oakland Stadium in 1988. It rained the second night, which made it seem totally surreal - I remember that David Gilmour quipped that it reminded him of home. http://viditelne.prase.cz/pfloyd.jpg ADG Webmaster |
Saw them twice in Rotterdam and once in Werchter.
Heard they will be playing this Live8 thing with Roger Waters... |
Division Bell at the Rose Bowl a LONG time ago...
Roger Waters in Irvine about 4 years ago or so??? Been a while. |

damn that was 12 years ago |
Saw them on their "The Wall Tour" a few years ago when they played in New York City.. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
The show was by far one of the greatest I've ever been to. The experience was something I will tell my grandkids about. They are definitely up there, show wise, with some of the most amazing trance shows I've been to. They leave one of those everlasting impressions on you that make you proud of them for being so great. My brother is flying to London to see them play soon, I'm still debating on whether or not I can make it, but would definitely fly there for a day to see them. |

Im there!!!!!!!!!!!! all 4 of them playing again? How can you miss this.... England here I come. :pimp |
if you think about it
this might all just be a brilliant marketing idea think about it, they see how much public interest is in them getting back together and playing ONE show in england...I can see a world tour happening(selling out every show) in the future if they all click on stage and no drama. |
i did. amazing.

Earls Court October '94. Best damn thing I have ever seen.
I went and saw a tribute band the other week and was very "nervous" beforehand on how I would react. But I have to say they were pretty good under the circumstances, plus they did the whole of Wish You Were Here which pleased me. |
