When is "Breaking news", no longer "Breaking news?"

How long has it been since the verdict? 3 hours at least?

I don't consider that breaking news, but I guess my ideas and that of CNN are quite different.

In reality breaking news is no longer Breaking news when the viewers stop watching at record levels and the buzz dies down a bit.
