    Anyone live in Hawaii?

    I am kinda bored with where I live (orlando, fl) and toying over the idea of moving to a new place. I kinda want some location that I can just ride a scooter to places and not worry to much about traffic, kinda like laid back, key west like I guess. Anyone know what Hawaii is like or other places?

          I go 4- 5 times a year. Kona is nice. I have some friends that live there.
          Maui is a great place to visit. I don't know if I 'd want to live there though.
          Kauai is the most laid back of them all. It's the Island of friut and flowers. By far the best to look at. Very peace full. I would rent a house and stay a month or so in the winter and see if thats were you want to live.

              Move to the Caribbean, Hawaii (Oahu anyways) has the worst fucking traffic and is full of tourists and Asians who will waste your time. The other islands are somewhat better, but still not like what you see in the movies. Definately a great place to live though.

                                          ok now that its the new year I am thinking about this again... Who is living in Hawaii and tell me about it. I am looking for a laid back place, but what really fucking gets me is the median single family home there is over 600k, damm...

                                          anywhere else to look at, I assume not much left in the states that is laid back and tropical.
