After test driving the M3 I decided to save $15k for sacrificing 30 horsepower and some interior quality and go with the G35 coupe. Its got upgraded air intake and exhaust so its pushing about 300 horses. This thing really moves for what it is.

actually it is an automatic but has triptronic manual shifting these cars fly G35 is a fucking sweet car I had a 2003 and I just got a new 2005 all black on black loaded mine is the four door but it rocks I love it..

nav, sport pack, luxury pak 19" rims heated seats the whole shabang. it is black on black all black interior tint etc I am just patiently waiting for my vanity plates, (GIGAWHO) lol driving it out to san diego for the show tomorrow AM.

I drive stick, but I can't believe you got that car in auto. Also, BMW's HP is not relevant, their engines are built solid and their cars are ALWAYS faster than other cars with the same hp.

What do you drive in stick?

My wife just got a red G35 coupe fully loaded a couple of weeks ago. Very fast and very cool car! Lots of fun to drive...

I don't think she had any idea just how fast it was or she would have gotten something else :winkwink:

got an a4 3.0 , but time for an upgrade soon. Thinking of the new 330XI when it comes out in a couple of months, or the S4.

I have a 350Z with Automatic Transmission w/ Manual Shift Mode. It's just as quick as the manual (because it has the manual option), and there is no clutch to break!

Praise to the automatic transmissions with manual options. Sure there,s no clutch, but it still hauls ass just the same.

Nice car btw! I'm thinking of getting the G35 sedan for my fiance... I'm between that and the Mercedes C230.

can you say tr-ip-tr-on-ic it is the best of both worlds auto/manual even in auto the car fucking screams I do not have to use the triptronic in the 2005 nearly as much as I did in the 2003 the engine upgrade they did is great.

Thanks Sherm. My car has the manual option too. It seems like it would come in handy in a race. Get your fiance the G35. More car for the $ and less expensive to fix than the C230. Unless she has her heart set on driving a benz, the infiniti is the way to go. My buddy has been a mechanic for 16 years and he told me to get the g35.

g35 over m3 ? who are you kidding, you just didn't have enough $ to add... i even would take 330ci zhp over g35c... and 30 more hp on //M3 means it will do 0-60 in 4.8 seconds, compare to g35c MANUAL which will do it in 5.9 seconds which is 330ci (225hp motor) territory...

Don't get me wrong. The M3 is in a different league. I just thought that the G35 looked as nice if not better and for 15k less the choice was easy. Unless I read your post wrong were saying that I couldn't afford the M3? Are you my accountant or something? :321GFY I drove a 330ci for 2 years and this car is faster. My dick is huge... i don't need an M3 to make up for it :1orglaugh
