Michael Fierce leaves Azure Entertainment
 

After a very successfull year of delivering key accounts like Platinum Bucks, Topbucks, Wasteland and others to Azure Entertainment, I Michael Fierce have QUIT Azure Entertainment effective as of 3pm June 8th.



My sole reason for leaving Azure Entertainenment is the repeated verbal and mentally abusive behavior of recently aquired VP of sales John Berg. Jon has failed to meet even minimal performance standards, failed to land suitable office space; (and when an office was found it was with a companyy that was recently indicted for DVD counterfeiting - smooth, very smooth) attract any new clients or outperform my sales. Jon's inccessant complaining and belittling of popular industry events such as Porn-O Karaoke, The XRCO Awards and other industry events as "worthless, not worth your time, doesnt result in sales" is both inccorrect and insulting to industry vets, I have had the pleasure of attending several such events since arriving here in California and want to thank everyone at Porn-O karaoke, Bill Margold at XRCO, Terra Patrick and her man for the Avalon invite and everyone else that has met me and networked with me with the intent of doing business with my former employer. Jon wouldn't be able to recognize any of this since in the 2 months i have been here he hasnt attended even one single industry event, prefering instead to golf with his buddies, or go jaunting off to disneyland.



I am walking away with six sites worth of content deals pending for close in San Diego, I have spoken with all of these web affiliate companies regarding my departure, they were all very surprised and collectively stated that one of the main reasons they would have done business with Azure was that they had met and gotten to know me, were convinced of my creative ability and confident that i would be instrumental in seeing their projects through to completion. Those deals have all been cancelled. I am leaving a lot of money on the table, money isnt everything, respect is.



Bobby and Paul The owners of Azure, produce some of the best content in the biz, They have both been amazing friends, their guidance and good counsel have helped me exceed my goals time after time, its a shame that their repeated poor choices in VP's have led to this point. I wish them well.



I'll be around, my company Mammoth Marketing & Events Inc. is in the process of developing some sites and i hope to be working with many of you in the future.

At one of the shows, I heard he was telling stories about other former employee of Azure being wanted by the FBI and Interpol. The story was so nutty they had to be fake. No one in the group was taking him seriously, but that is not cool.

John Berg - name is familiar but not sure - did he used to be with Matrix?

I wouldn't doubt he was telling the truth, but come on, that tells you so much about him, shit talking about the company that puts food on his table, and a roof over his head.

Anthony, Thanks for the kind words. What ever you feel about Azure is your business but if you got to meet Bobby and Paul you would see they are stand up guys. The past is the past and as I know there are things posted I think Bobby is a straight up guy and got railroaded. Either way as you can see Fierce wants to be a celebrity so rock on dude. As for any of the other shit he has to say not much holds validity. I am not going to go on with his rant. Thankfully Michael didn't slam me (Yes, I am still Azure's webmaster) and I wish him the best of luck but not in this industry.

Why is it that when people leave or quit a company - they slam the company? Just walk away and start over - things can get around way too fast and then people will know you and choose not to do anything with you.

Alot of things he did were done on his own and Jon had nothing to do with. As you all know about Michael I don't have to say more and won't slam people for unknown reason.

All I can say is that his leaving had been his own doing. He caused his own problems and himself alone. Jon is good guy and knows alot about this industry - as I have learned and grown within this industry - Jon has always been good. He might bitch and moan either it be good or bad but he always wants the best for the company he works for.

Jon will be at the show - so please say hello to him, buy him a beer or just shoot the shit with him...it is definetly worth the time.

If so, then I'd like to thank him for being himself, and let him know that he cost Azure entertainment alot of money in Miami last year. It was on his conduct alone that I did not make a rather large purchase with that company. and in hindsight with everything that has come to light, it was the right decision.
