Conservative absurdity: Lindsay Lohan's breasts digitally reduced for new movie

Herbie won't be fully loaded :1orglaugh

Disney technicians were forced to plough through numerous scenes - especially those showing the busty actress jumping up and down at a motor racing track, reducing her breasts by two cup sizes and raising revealing necklines on her T-shirts.

Not true... someone who pre-screened the movie told me they're as bouncy as ever (well before her cocaine addiction) so this story seems to be BS.

I'm boycotting this film just on general principle.

If they "pre-screened" it chances are it was before the test audiences saw it. The digitizing happpened after complaints from some in the test audience. As much as some groups scrutinize Disney I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to get in on test audiences.

Google it and you'll see the story is not BS :upsidedow

BlackCrayon 06-10-2005 06:21 AM

i hope not, not that i plan to see it but her tits is what made mean girls enjoyable for me.

duhhhhhhhhhhhh. bush is behind everything. 8 year olds are only going to the movie to see her tits, whats wrong with that, everything should be sexually explicit, cause GFY losers said so :thumbsup

Hee Haw played early in family hour. Did you see them blocking Dolly Parton's tits? And that was 35 years ago. What happened since then to make well endowed women inappropriate for children? It's not like Lindsay Lohan was wearing a bikini in this movie, the article said t-shirts.

the article also said it was a concern PARENTS had, not the republican party. also, if you think religion wasnt more of an influence 35 years ago you're crazy. werent Elvis' hips banned from T.V. for awhile because they "endorsed sexual behavior"?

Did I sat Bush? No I didn't. I'm talking about the conservative absurdity that has gripped this country every since Janet Jackson tried to renew her sagging (pun intended) career. :upsidedow

You are going back practically 50 years and yes, things were much more conservative in the 50s than 1970.

Key word is "some" parents. The article says several. You don't think all of these "family" organizations that scrutinize Disney stay on top of "test screenings"?

FilthyRob 06-10-2005 07:27 AM

Disney IS the studio that did not want to release Farenheit 911 ... but just a coincidence...

Continue to live in your denial GOP land ... hope to see you handcuffed soon.

im sure they're on top of the test screenings. i also KNOW disney doesnt need bad press for a movie from these groups in regards to a kids movie. if "some" parents disapprove in the test screenings, im sure that number will hold true when its released. let them police disney movies, i could care less. it wont hold water once they go after the movies geared towards adults because sex appeal is a big part of these movies. the sky isnt falling, no need to pull out the tinfoil hats.

hummm... how about a shareholder that didn't get his return on a major hit movie ( 911).
A BTW, I was refering to you talking about Bush. Nobody said Bush did this or that... He said " conservative" ...
So you think he should have said " liberals " ....

Do you know what " conservative " stands for ... You should, because you are one solidly implanted in cement....

doesnt disney own miramax? didnt they release sin city? maybe the truth is they dont want the disney name tied into something that may be portrayed as improper for children. maybe thats what these test screenings are all about. feed back from parents. it has nothing todo with conservatives or liberals, it has to do with concerns brought forth by parents. again, disney can do whatever they want. who are you to tell them otherwise? you're searching for something that simply isnt there.

QuaWee 06-10-2005 07:52 AM

well there goes my reason for seeing this movie....

thanks for the info on miramax. right wing bs? all im saying is its up to the company to make these decisions. if they think the path will be smoother by doing this then thats up to them. no matter how absurd it is, its their choice. how do i morally work in this industry? i have the right to pick and choose what i promote. if i think my users dont want to see a dude getting pissed on, i wont show it to them because im financially inclined to do so. same goes for disney. if parents had a problem in the test screening with lohans tits, it will become and issue once released and might impact the money they'd return on the movie. it all comes down to money. this isnt a fucking conspiracy, so stop trying to turn it into one.

Contradicts a number of reputable sources.
Perhaps the director is trying to stifle controversy.
Then again it wouldn't be the first time mainstream media perpetuated lies to the country :upsidedow
