Any here have 10 or 12 inch screen portable computer?

If so, are they convenient for surfing the net?

small keyboard if you got big hands

<---- 500

Mr.Fiction 06-15-2005 02:34 PM

The keyboard will probably cause you more problems than the screen.

I have an Avaratec 3200 series laptop that has a 12-inch screen. I bought it because it is nice and small, light and easy to carry around.

The smaller screen isn't the best for photo editing, but I tend to do most of that kind of work on a 19" CRT on a different machine anyway.

The key size is normal, and I have no troubles touch-typing on it.

working on 13"

That's the notebooke I'm considering buying. The only thing holding me back is the processor, AMD. I'd rather get a Centrino.

My hundred year old laptop is about 12" or so, use it wireless mainly to post on boards. Not for long as my 15.4" Dell should be arriving any day!

I want a 12" Dell laptop. IMO notebooks are MEANT to be small and easily portable. I have no desire to own a widescreen, bulky laptop. When I buy one, it will be 12" display :thumbsup

for surfing 12 inches would be cool

Calvinguy 06-15-2005 10:20 PM

I have a tablet notebook with a 12 inch screen @ 1400x1050

In tabletmode its pretty cool to surf the net on the couch, but in normal pc mode 1400x1050 its pretty hard for the eyes.

kernelpanic 06-15-2005 10:38 PM
