2257:what if model doc's are...
..valid when first given to the webmaster but then a week (or year, or 10 yrs) later, the address changed, and the DOJ is on your doorstep looking for the current doc's?
my question is, how are sponsors (that are giving out the 2257 documents) going to be able to keep up with the current addresses of the past, present & future models?? And more importantly, let us, the affiliates, know when an address has been changed? **sorry if this has already been discussed |
It was... AaronM mentioned that most of his model's give him ID that aren't even valid that day, since they tend to move so much. Model's tend to change addresses very quickly in this industry.
But on the flip side, I don't think it's been determined 100% anywhere whether or not the address shown is even required.... as in, whether or not all ID's must be uncensored or not. |

thanks for the reply, i'll have to do a search on that thread & read it. i wasnt sure how false/old id's would affect me if i got a knock at my door, just trying to understand everything to protect my own ass. thanks again! :) |
the ids need to be uncensored.
also...the information on the id needs to be current as of that particular time. where she/he moves to in the future you can't control. |
The law clearly states that the ids and 2257 info (aliases, etc.) need only be current at the date of the production. You don't have to spend the rest of your life phoning models to ask if they plan on moving.
