2257 has and will bring about a lot of Changes.
We encourage everyone to seek legal advice
of how these 2257 regs affect you as a secondary producer.

Due to the 2257 regs, we are changing our TOS, to reflect
what we believe will satisfy 2257, and be the best for our affiliates,
but mostly what is best for our Models.
We will NOT be giving out Models ID's.

What this means for our affiliates:
Effective June 23, 2005 Affiliates will no longer be able to use
SEXUALLY EXPLICIT content of our models to Promote our sites.
If you have any images of our Models that are Sexually Explicit,
then they must be removed.
Most affiliates will have few changes since 98% of our content was
what we believe to be within the guidelines.
Our decision is set for 100% of our affiliates, no matter
where you are located.

For us, SEXUALLY EXPLICIT means, the showing of Pink or pubic area,
and actual Sexual Acts. Bare breasts we do not believe are sexually explicit.

Within the week our TOS page and Content area(s) will be updated
with content that we authorize you to use. On a side note,
if you believe that an image / video is Sexually Explicit, in our
free content area, then Do Not Use it...
Everyone should Take advantage of our hosted galleries.
Some content areas will be down for content, but we are working on those.

I want everyone to donate to the Free Speech Coalition,
even if it is only $20, every little bit will help in the fight.

On a lighter note, we will pick a random affiliate that sends at least 1 sale
a day for the next 5 days to win.
You must send 1 sale for each days contest. Starting 09 June 2005.
We will also be making a donation to the FSC...

I am not against not giving affiliates the info and asking them to just change to all softcore. I have been removing galleries for 3 days.

I am not asking any sponsors for the info.

So where are all the euros saying 2257 wouldn't effect them.

hmm think not. European based webmasters are not going away - and are not going to stop selling to the US market. Like it or not EU webmasters will be able to offer much more than what US based webmasters will be able to in the way they run their programs.

Dont get me wrong I think the new regs are wank and feel for US based webmasters - im just stating a clear fact.

Bigger affiliate programs are yet to make their official announcements, so we still dont have a reason to give shit about...

Yep, many guys that can really afford to sidestep the new laws by going offshore have yet to speak on the issue.

At this point I don't really see how any of the big US affiliate programs will be sidestepping any law by going offshore. You can't just move your US business or repatriate your US citizen ship to avoid a criminal prosecution. It doesn't work like that.
