An African American president - When ?
I'm sure we will have a woman president before we have an african american one.
by 2050 ? |
Al Sharpton 2008
|
Condi Rice perhaps? That'll be long before 2050 and a double whammy for the Republicans.
|
I hope soon...i'm sick of the medical marijuana b.s.
|
P Diddy 2008
|
he would probably get sickle cell anemia anyways and die.
old black men dont do too well. |
i thought it was going to be colin powell for sure, but he's so fed up..
"go get the car Colin" "go wash the hellicopter".... cunnilingus rice is a good one, she is another puppet just like curious george... |
where can I find some nude pics of that hot Rice babe?
and to answer your question, you'll have a black president as soon there's a (democratically elected) white one in South Africa -------> NEVER |
Wanna see a black president? Watch 24.
|
I think the first AA President will be Colin Powell. You heard it here first.
He is black, right? |
|
After the revolution, when whitey's blood runs red in the streets.

Not for a long while.
|
no time soon
|
the red states wouldnt vote for Kerry you think they will vote for a black guy!? :1orglaugh
OPRAH will be the first though if it does. you people are idiots if you think different. :2 cents: |

that's one hell of toss up. chauvinism and racial intolerance are are almost equally ingraned in most people. i think we will see a female president before a black one.
|
As God told Jesse Jackson, "Not in my lifetime".

Grow up :thumbsup |
Barack Obama 2012 for sure with a REALLY outside chance of 2008...but my guess is they will save up for 2012 after whatever loser they decide to nominate in '08
I strongly freel he'll win. Although , being in seattle I have a pretty skewed perception i suppose....I just think that the parts of the south where they think gay people should die at the stake and they still don't think of black people like they do white people ...should go off and start their own boring arian nation country...seriously, who needs that type of bullshit in America |
Hopefully soon... I'd love to see it in my lifetime
|
Never.
They'll miss their window unfortunately, because the census data shows that in the next 50 years both Latino and Asian minority bases will explode in size far beyond African American population growth rates (no "11 welfare kids per black mom" jokes, lol, apparantly that stereotype isn't accurate afterall). :1orglaugh Census data also shows that Latinos and Asians report a much higher willingness to vote, and to be involved in politics, than African Americans. If it doesn't happen in the next 10 years, it never will, and that's not going to happen due to the United States being a few decades away from accepting African-Americans in a leadership posistion. Obama or not, this country is currently ruled by "Nascar Dads", hence why the Republicans keep winning despite the odds being against them, and those good old boys will never vote for some "black sob". |

why is that? |

The rapture will happen long before that ever does. America is based on way too much hatred and fear for anything like that to ever happen.

Why? So the Democrats can win again? |

A little slow on the ball today, huh? |
We are not ready to see a black president.

he meant that if condi rice was battling against a democrat candidate for presidency, the dems would win because americans wouldn't elect a woman. but my comment, "I would love to see it happen" was to say "I would love to see condi rice WIN the elections", so......... |
an outsiders view
having spent time in the US and studied it's politics and political institutions and spoken to a lot of "normal" american citizens, I have to agree you'll have a woman a long time before an african-american president.
I wouldn't be surprised if you even have a latino president before. I would love to be proved wrong. I. |

Maybe Vice first,, so 2016 He is definitly somebody to watch for |
who gives a fuck? its about the capacaties of the president, not about the race.
|
I want Micheal as a prez
though can't do anythign about it but still.. originally african american and now white best of both worlds |
Quote:
I am aware of that. My comment implies that the only way the Democrats stand a chance in winning is if the Republicans nominate a chick. |
Quote:
A black chick? hahaha only way that could happen is if she ran against Hillary and why would you want to see that happen? who would she have as a VP? because she would never survive the 4 years |
Quote:
you sure walked away with a lot of misconceptions. remember, history repeats itself, and you can be sure that there will be a black man before any woman |
You'd have one right now if Colin Powell had run. I would have voted for him.
|
Quote:
but you're probably right that she wouldn't win the elections. |
Barak Obama would make a great candidate, he's very well spoken
I think Oprah could stand a reasonable chance, just look at how people voted for the terminator, and he can't even speak english! |
People voted Gray Davis out, Arnold was just the lesser of the evils when it came to his (Davis) replacement. He's not very loved as far as I can see.
