How fast can you type?
 

I type so fast that I go through a keyboard a month and sometimes two.

I type so fast that I could pause to take a drag from my cig and there's still shit being typed because my processor is trying to catch up! :thumbsup

How fast do YOU type? Two-finger hunt and peckers need not respond. You all type so slow that before you can reply to an ICQ the other person already fell asleep, woke up, and is now getting ready for work.

I am always amazed at how many people don't know how to type. It is like learning to swim or ride a bike.......how did you get through life without picking it up?

When I was in high school, back in the days when the only keyboards were on those old IBM selectric typewriters, I remember all the guys bitching in typing class "we're not going to be secretarys so why do we need to learn this crap."

Little did we know we'd all be so dependent on typing skills 20 years laters.

I type slower on ICQ than I do on other apps. I try extra-hard not to sound like an ass on ICQ.

I think around 30-36 words per minute if I can remember

I lost all my fingers, except for my right middle one, in a freak programming accident. So I type pretty fast.

I took typing in the 8th and 9th grade in Jr. Hi. in Dago. I was the only guy in the class. By the end of the 9th grade, I had moved just over 120wpm. And, folks, there were no power cords on our tripewriters then (that's what I call them).

Today, I'd say I still hit around 80-90wpm correct.

I've always been grateful I decided to learn to type....correctly.

keyboards have helped me with typing faster and more correct. i still, to this day, cannot type on a typewriter and i took typing in hs. go figure.

I type so fast that the typing sound of clicking keys happens about 10 seconds after ive finished typing. I type faster than the speed of sound.
