I would say yes... Because many use that release to gather the models stage names, madian name ect. And you have to be able to cross ref. by all ever used...

well, but you store the passport scan already. Is it really necessary to store all contracts for every set? Some sets even dont have a contract with them as the model did ... lets say 5 shoots at that day, tho only has 1 contract ???

Nowhere in the published regs did I or anyone we consulted with see anything about obtaining and storing contracts. The contract is between the model and the primary producer or photographer. The contracts may be a good tool for obtaining some things like alias's, but it's just as easy to ask the producer or photographer for that information.

The government telling primary producers or photographers to disclose confidential contracts is a bit of an over reach IMHO.
