Giving out model IDs, question...
 

There's quite a hub-bub right now about handing out model IDs. Ok, sure, I can see and understand the concern. The models safety, stalkers, etc.

I just flipped through a section of my purchased content. I wanted to check the various sets to see which IDs I need to be getting, which sites I'll need to axe, etc. Of the 4 different content providers I searched through, 3 of them already had full and complete IDs. No blacking out. The FULL ID. Keep in mind, I have had this content for over a year now. Long before the 2257 buzz started last summer.

A lot of this content was extremely cheap. A couple bucks. Some sets were $5, others were $15, you get the idea. So $5 gave me a hot models ID.

Now my question... has there been any cases of stalking so far due to IDs being so easy to get? Has there been any problems? Why all the commotion now, when I've been sitting here for over a year with IDs that only cost me $5?

I have just talked to Silvia Saint - she gives a fuck about her adress in public - its changed for billion times meanwhile so ....

after a while I said fuck it. At first I had a problem supplying all my customers with model contact info. but after reading all 2257 posts... that is what they expect us to do. Need to give full ID's to all content buyers with contract saying that they can't give that info out or be sued for invasion of privacy. that is what I'm doing.

Seems like a fair policy. I would probably do something similar. Though, I was never required to previously.

I've seen quite a few people very adamant about this privacy issue. I would love to hear their thoughts.

I am expecting all my purchased DVD's to have all the ID's now. I am making a paysite with the content and I have to have it.

Any content of me is non-compliant. My ID is apparently invalid.

Sly I have pointed this out before and it fell on deaf ears. I have always gotten model ID's with every purchase I have made for the last several years. Nobody has ever said no, nobody said yes but it will be censored, and not one person asked why.
Seems like it is only a big deal now, maybe so they can complain about stuff and how stupid the laws are.

If you have someone's full legal name and a little know-how, you can get their current address very easily.

So blocking out the address or whatever on the ID's doesn't do much good.

This really is not about blocking out info, this is about how everyone has been giving out unaltered ids for years and are only complaining now.

It's not the address! They change addresses more than most change the sheets on the bed... It's the Name and in most cases with the us models a SS card.

This would just lead to dumbasses using this info as a weapon... No not everyone would... But there would be some! Also, Where do you draw the line? I'll give it to this affiliate but not this one...

Another think, It stated right in my modeling contract that the content will not be used with there real name. And, There would be webmasters making geo targeted advertising to where the girl is located with here name to snag sales for people that know here...

Speaking of SS cards, in a lot of sets I have purchased over the years not only was the drivers license included but so was the social security card as a form of secondary id. As sly stated some of these sets were purchased for under 15.00 each.

I only started asking for ID's a year ago when the new regs were proposed and nobody has told me no either.

I think it's the mass distribution to affiliates that the content people are worried about....but hey, the paysite owners didn't write this law.

I don't think you understand. I already have the IDs. I have every drivers license. I can call up these girls right now. I can use their name to find them. I got all this information for only $5.

Yet, I have never heard of any tragic model stories. Do you have some to share? I don't understand why its such a huge issue now, yet it wasn't 2 years ago when I could buy the same IDs for just $5. Please explain this to me.

I have a pile of ID's on content I never used either. I got them when I bought the sets with no problems.

Who are giving out full ids? I would love to know so I can buy some content..I am so frustrated right this moment because a HUGE chunk of the ids I am getting have the models full name totally blacked out and usually every other thing on the ID too. Not just on the ID either but the releases too.

I provide ID's and all 2257 Documents for my customers who buy exclusive content... And one of them has already announced they will not be giving ID's... But, I don't shoot for just any tom, dick or harry...

A few are AMA, Bargain Basement, Matrix, Ounique...

for the most part only real, mature webmasters buy content. unlike most who use free content, so this maybe the reason it hasn't been no known cases of stalking, etc.

It might not have been an issue to this point, because the general public and surfers here on GFY didn't realize you COULD get the documents (I have a ton as well btw).

However NOW, imagine just the lurkers at all of the adult forums that now KNOW this information. You're right in that 99.999.....% of the people who have them will simply file them as they should.

But it only takes that ONE nutjob out there to effectively make everyone who's spoken out about handing over these ID's correct.

A lot of Content girls tend to Move around a lot!
Most Surfers might be in lust over a Picture set of a
Content girl, but they fall in LOVE with Single Girls
Solo Websites. These Girls that are Models for Single Girl
Sites also tend to be more stable and not Move around much.

Good Teen content for paysites.
Legal teens and amateurs, solo and couples.
No distribution to affiliates and only 10 URLs.
This content is for paysites, needing fresh unsaturated content at a reasonable price.

Full IDs given to buyers. No distribution to affilaites.

Seems all the big companies that are definitely getting legal advise are not giving out IDs, the reason has to be obvious.

Sponsors who give out IDs without an iron clad model release will be putting themselves in danger of being sued. Think about this when your sponsor says he will give you IDs. Do you want to be pushing a company that might be on the losing end of a million dollar law suit?

See my post. We give to the buyers, but they do not have the option of giving to affiliates.

Give the IDs to 100 you have checked or give the IDs to 100 who will give it to 10,000 you have not checked?

What option would you want taken with YOUR IDs?

This is the danger.

How soon before a surfer posts on a board how easy it is to find a models address, just sign up as an affiliate and the paysite will give you her IDs. How long before a model gats stalked and raped? How long before models say NO INTERNET. They already say it because of free sites or stop modeling after their brothers find the pictures.

Do you really want an industry that is selling low quality girls?
