It's kinda long but it just goes to show how con's work.

Yes, Chole, a person close to you was jealous of a member of your family and cast a bad spell. Your whole family was the victim of this curse, which explains why none of your close acquaintances has ever been really fortunate in life or managed to lead the life he or she should have deserved (apart of course from those who were able to identify the cause of their evil).
