Took Experian like 17 days before they called Citicorp for a UPS tracking number, lol. Package could go around the world in less time..

Wow, that's a major fuckup. There's probably so much of this crap happening most of it doesn't even get publicily disclosed.
unreal...the idea of where such info may end is scary to say the least..
So let me get this straight.. Citibank arranges a 'special security system' with UPS so that they have secure tracking, but they don't make sure that someone has to SIGN for the damn package or something?
"Citigroup said its missing tapes were shipped from Weehawken, New Jersey, on May 2. It said it first learned of a possible problem on May 20 when Experian called to request a tracking number" It took them 18 DAYS from the time it was shipped to discover they were missing. Shouldn't someone have been EXPECTING them?? *doh* to UPS AND Citibank - :helpme |
that's some stupid shit
:banana U selling it smokey ?? :banana
what's gonna happen now?
Thats so fucked up
Nice... to bad I don't use CC's.

you don't have anything to do with this? right smokey?
Nick Akerman, a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP who represents companies whose data are lost, said: "If you're Citigroup, you'd want to ask if UPS is the proper way to deliver such information, and whether you should be using private deliverers to transport sensitive data."
Oh, really? :1orglaugh I saw this on the evening news and my reaction is the same, its bullshit. They are trying to push their credit card insurance and monitoring service. Scare the shit out of people and they will fall in line as you want. :1orglaugh |
I should have applied for a loan early this year!
I'm glad I cut up my card along time ago
