2257 And Ripped DVD Content

Has anybody received any reply from AdultLegal or any other broker who licenses DVD's produced by the LA porn studios as to when/if they will be distributing model ID's for the DVD's they licensed in the past and/or still are currently licensing?

I wouldn't hold my breath on Adult Legal getting you those or many of the studios getting those ID's to you. They made very little money per DVD licensed - i doubt they're going to be worried about getting documentation to webmasters. Has anybody received the documentation from Redlight District Video or Zero Tolerance yet?

That content is now garbage for US webmasters, your ticket it to jail.

what studios do you broker DVD licenses for? they sent you model ID's for all the talent in the DVDs? wonder if any of the porn agents in LA are letting girls know that this is happening. doubt it. most girls wouldn't care, they're pretty hardened already.

Studios ticket to jail and lawsuits if they do not want to turn the info over as required by law.

We've got most of the ID's from Legend, they tell us the rest will be added soon.

I only recently made my first DVD content purchase so I made sure that I would get ID's before I bought them.
The stuff people bought years ago....damn...that's got to be tough.

Thanks for the business Lenny... yes there are many studios that are not providing them because they are told by their attorny not to... however there are few production companies that have no problem at all....

We have over 5,000 titles and I dont think that we will ever be able to get all the doc's for all the titles but im sure we will be able to have more then half.

Right now we have over 800 titles with full docs... a week ago it was only 400 ... so we see some light :thumbsup

We carry almost all the titles that Adult Legal has so its a good idea to contact me just for the license... I'm known to make deals :thumbsup

The studios I'm dealing with understand that.

Presently we carry 450 DVD titles through our EXCLUSIVE arrangement with Metro Interactive ...

and about 1500 DVD titles TOTAL ... including our non-exclusive titles - 80% with full docs TODAY, the other 20% coming very quickly and will be available before the deadline.

We just added Madness Pictures to our roster last week, and are uploading their 22 titles - mostly from 2005 and 2004 ... AND ... they have NEVER been released on the net before!

All 100% 2257 compliant as per the new regs.

:thumbsup :thumbsup

So how avs sponsor like Adultbouncer, Deluxepass, Janswebring, pornaccess will do to get the 2257 docs? I never hear anything about them. You?

FilthyRob 06-09-2005 01:27 PM

There are so many loose ends. I am not bothering, it the sites make me money, I will look, if not, they are being deleted and redirecting.

I have gone through about 10,000 pages so far in two days.

In fact, I just deleted my very first ever porn page from 1996 and it made me sad.

Adult Legal assured me they will have my documents soon.
fingers crossed.

I talked to Elegant Angel several times getting nowhere until yesterday they agreed to send docs for their DVD's to Adult Legal then on to me.

Also WorldWide promises me my docs any day now also.

Actually if a broker violated their contract with the studio with the manner in which they were selling the titles, I don't think the studios are going to have to give them anything, especially not it it were a studio that had already started or finished litigation with the broker...
