The pimps in Oakland should rent billboard space and post photos of some of the cops dressed up as hookers to entrap johns, as well as photos of cops who are clients (or cops who coerce hookers into free sex while on-duty).
Mustn't forget all of the politicians and church folk who are paying customers too.
BTW, a few days ago a story broke about the son of the Oakland City Council President (and front runner in the Mayor's race), who was busted for allegedly raping two women (including a 15 year-old girl):
Quote:
Politician's Son Charged With Raping Two Women
May 3 (BCN) ? Oakland City Council president Ignacio De La Fuente, who many consider to be the city's mayoral-race frontrunner, had a difficult day today as his son was arraigned on charges that he raped two women.
At a brief hearing in Alameda County Superior Court, Judge Winifred Smith ordered Ignacio Rafael De La Fuente Jr., 32, to stay away from his two alleged victims, a 15-year-old girl and another unnamed woman.
De La Fuente Jr. is charged with two counts of forcible rape.
In an unusual legal move, Smith issued a gag order barring the attorneys in the case from talking to the news media.
Gag orders are only rarely issued at a defendant's initial court appearance. When they are granted, it's usually before a defendant's trial.
The gag order was requested by Jesse Garcia, the attorney for De La Fuente Jr.
Garcia didn't state any reason for requesting the gag order and Smith didn't state any reason for granting it.
De La Fuente Jr., shackled and dressed in a black suit and a blue shirt at today's hearing, was ordered to remain in custody without bail and return to court Friday for a bail hearing.
His father, De La Fuente Sr., attended today's hearing. Afterward, he said, "We love our son and we want to let justice move on."
Accompanied by Garcia, De La Fuente Jr. turned himself in to Oakland police shortly after midnight Friday, according to Lt. Mike Yoell, commander of the special victims unit.
Yoell said on Friday that De La Fuente Jr. was being held on suspicion of forcible rape and kidnapping for an incident from on April 16 in Oakland's Fruitvale District, the area represented by his father.
Physical evidence linked De La Fuente Jr. to the 15-year-old, Yoell said.
At a news conference on Friday, De La Fuente Sr. said his son lives in Redwood City, was married at one time but is now divorced.
Many Oakland political observers consider De La Fuente Sr. to be the leading candidate for mayor of Oakland in next year's election because he's endorsed by current Mayor Jerry Brown, City Council members Jane Brunner, Jean Quan, Larry Reid and Henry Chang, the Oakland Chamber of Commerce, the Oakland Police Officers Association, Firefighters Union Local 55 and several churches.
