I got a ear cleaning kit with a little water in ear blower thing that works good

normally how the doctor does it as well... I got holes in my ear drums.. suppose to wear hearing aids, never do... and I can remember a 2-3 "doctores in training" trying to clean my ears they shot that water in my ear hardcore and it opened my holes in my ear drums, I was crying at 17 from the pain, the professional came and and looked into my ears and started yelling at the other guys, I was in some serious pain.. so be careful with that thing.

Without any additional holes in my ears, I use a "Water-Pic." Yeah, the tooth thingie. My doctor turned me onto it. Warm water (cold will send you up the wall) and alcohol mix.

ear candles? are they much better than qtips?

Q-tips..I had a friend who did that and it broke off in his ear..they basically had to slice the back of the ear to get at it..not advisable

The water from the shower works best for me.

yeah they're the shit. you can pick them up at msot drug stores. ear cones, or ear candles they're called. you lay on your side, stick them into your ear and light them on fire. they draw all the wax out while the burn through capilary action. they get your ears hella clean.

works damn well. you just have to have someone around to make sure it doesn't burn down to far. ;]

Don't stuff qtips or anything else into your ear, and don't use candles either

Your ears are NOT supposed to be "clean". The earwax is there for a reason = to protect the ear from infection

If you try to get it "clean", you'll probably cause micro-injuries in the ear canal sooner or later

Then you'll get "swimmer's ear" = verrrrry painful

The doctor will need to remove the bacteria in the ear then = OOOUUUCHHHH

qtips just push the wax deeper into your ears, I use the ear candles every 3-4 months or so.

they use a vacumn like effect and literally suck the wax out from deep within your ears. They work insanely good

Q-tips will just push the wax inner... I just use water or head to the docs

I find the best way is to get my ears wet in the shower and then use a q-tip when i get out.

soap water rag in the shower - then a qtip when i get out..

everyone says qtips are bad, because they push the was all the way inside and creates a wax ball that is very hard to remove and will screw up your hearing

I use Q-Tips but when ever I am in Bangkok I stop by the salon and get a real ear cleaning. It's amazing the shit that comes out of there during a real ear cleaning. Yuck.

q-tips are bad they scratch the inside of your ear after a while fucking your ear up.
ear candles don't work for shit.....the coloration in the wax is just the wax of the candle not ear wax.

your not supposed to clean your ears unless you have a problem with blockage then you go to the doctor and they shoot water in your ear. Otherwise you can just stick your finger in your ear a bit and wipe whatever is around the edges.

you arent supposed to clean the inside of your ear, just the outside areas. the inside should remain as it is unless a problem occurs with accumulation of wax. the wax is there to help prevent ear infections. if blockage does occur you can use hydrogen peroxide

my ears are kinda fucked up by the way.
