yes been there once, wasn't bad 3 years ago but I wouldn't go there again. Just not THAT great to visit twice. Friendly people though.

Really depends what you are looking for in a holiday really. Plenty of resorts cater for the 18 - 30 punter (loads of clubs, drinking and holiday sex) where as some parts of the country have some great rural areas that make it great for people looking to escape.

The country is becoming very popular for family holidays too.

Turkey is a great place to visit, if you are looking for sun, sea, night clubs and all kind of entertainment go ahead. Also the prices are very cheap and you will love there. There are many people who came as tourists and stayed there and bought a house.

i went to turkey 1 day from greece, i worked for 4 days to get a nice stub beard and this fool on the street wanted to shave it..... i was highly offended!
