Sorry to be a bore, but if you look at it you will see that Muslims and Christians are indeed the same religion.

A Muslim is not allowed to approve of porn or homosexuality and any Muslim female taking part in a photoshoot would be put to death under Islamic law. It's pretty much a black and white position with a tiny grey area inbetween.

The reason that a Muslim commits such an act is not because they are poor or educated or anything like that - it is because they believe in Islam so strongly that they will do anything to live up to Allah's word. So if Allah tells them to wage war on the unbelievers, which he does, then that is what they will do. There is no such thing as a peaceful Muslim, as the Qu'ran specifically tells them NOT to be peaceful towards the unbelievers, hence any Muslim who believes in peace with the unbelievers automatically renounces Islam and is then a target of the terrorists himself.

thats why i put "extreme" in my first post.
But extremists all started their religion in a harmless way, probably like your, or my, next door neighbour or friend. I dont say everyone whos religious is a freak, its just the fact that religion is another word for cult. You see yourself as part of a group, and its a group believing stuff nobody can proof (a fantasy from people who wrote it down a very long time ago) and those groups are very easy to influence for people with power.
If you really need religion, keep it personal and to yourself.
