I thought these were photoshopped or used some kind of funky photographic tricks..

Those clouds are usually precursors to tornadoes, or at least tornado-forming cloud structures.

I think that in this pic.. http://www.primanudes.com/hotlink/cloud2.jpg there seems to be 2 light sources. One above and behind the clouds shining blue thru the thin areas. Then there appears to be a light source above the camera shining on the clouds, and it seems to be 'hotter' in the center than on the edges.

I'm thinking photoshop in this pic.

These are actually clouds of a severe thunderstorm....saw some shit on the Weather Channel that showed these....crazy.

Wrong, wrong, wrong...

Not only did I grow up in "tornado alley" Im also a certified weather observer, which was a requirement for my last "real job" (Air Traffic Controller). You may see these clouds AFTER a severe thunderstorm or tornado comes thru, but you definately wont see them BEFORE it happens.
