A UK website owner got as ASBO for posting a pope joke on his site.

For those not from the UK, ASBO's were created by our want goverment in the last few years to stop thugs upsetting old ladies. They are now just used by tight assed twats who want to stop you having fun.

Even an old lady got one for feeding the birds.

If you break an ASBO its prison for 5 years.

So basicly if you work for the council you can simply become the law, and hand out these things as much as you want.

A man who published jokes about the Pope's death on a spoof village website was yesterday threatened with an antisocial behaviour order.

Police were asked to investigate after Mitch Hawkin posted a spoof advert for the job of pontiff following the death of John Paul II.

Mr Hawkin's website has been involved in a feud with a similarly named website in Lyneham, Wiltshire. The website said: "Fancy a new job? The Vatican is now looking for a new Pope now that the current one has snuffed it."

The remarks continued: "Let's hope the next Pope can do a better job. Better still, why not abolish the position of Pope, as religion, at the end of the day, causes more wars than anything else."

Mr Hawkin has been involved in a feud with www.lynehamvillage.com which has a gentler tone, and claims to be the original website for Lyneham. It is run by Andy Humm, who describes his rival as bringing "shame" on Lyneham.

Critics of the spoof site fear that people looking for information about the village will read that site first rather than Mr Humm's more sedate version, whose home page has pictures of daffodils and urges people to pick up litter.

Mr Humm said: "What Mr Hawkin has said about the Pope is disgusting and outrageous. Mr Hawkin should be charged."

Mr Humm and a local councillor have been pressing for an Asbo to be taken out against the alternative site.

Allison Bucknell, a Conservative councillor for Lyneham, said: "An Asbo is being looked at against Mr Hawkin. He's causing a lot of damage to the community."

The council's antisocial behaviour officer had tried to mediate, but Mr Hawkin did not show up.

A Wiltshire police spokesman said investigations were under way after a series of complaints.

Yes British (not sure if ASBO's are legal in Scotland as Scotish law is different), but I think what he is saying is that this law is as daft as some USA laws.

In fact out thick shit goverment keeps bringing crap like this out all the time.

A bit back they came out with the idea of instant fines. Police would take you to a cash machine and you would have to pay £100. In fact it was droped and not one person was fined.

In the election very few even voted Labour. I think it was less than 20% of the country. Bunch of wankjers they are.

So just because some twat council worker does not like what you do, they can make you a criminal.

Even a dog and horse have got them.

This week a 5 year old was hung by some 12 year olds, police were called, but could not be bothered to turn up. And it was only 11 miles from me.

Freedom of speech in Europe is so limited.

Europe is the center of Catholic religion... no doubt it could happen...

To be honest I think the reason was that it offended one stupid silly moo.

Another chap who runs a pub named his car park porkit (or somthing like that - because of all the butchers) but he was told it was rude and to change the name. It said stuff it and told them to go to hell.

I look forward to getting an ASBO as I will insist on the 5 years in prison.

On the TV show it said some wild hgorses got ASBO's - thats wild horses. What are you going to do arrest them?

Each day I get more mad about our thick police. Me and my mate have just started to moick them. Its too easy.

a teacher was being haresed each day at her home. Police could not be bothered to go to her house to stop the 15 year olds throwing rocks at her house and breaking her car. In the end she got so fed up she got a air rifal and shot it in the air. She got a prison sentance. Thats right arest the inicent.

One girl was arreseted for eating an apply while driving????

Yet steal a car and you will get 2 hours comunity servise. Steal a car and kill a child you get a £50 fine (yes two weeks ago one kid got a £50 fine for stealing a car and killing a 5 year old).
