++ Can you recommend a good chat application software? ++
 

im thinking of Macromedia Flash Communications Server MX 1.5 (Personal)
but with a price tag of US$499.00, just a little bit way over the top :(

There's some good java stuff out there. We have lots of good stuff for flashcom. You could always just lease the flashcom for 100 a month but it sounds like budget is pretty limited with this...

the FlashCOm application just blows me a way, kickass interface and features.
if there's no other alternatives out there, i might end up using this software.
still, have lots of time digging until I settle with this one.

We're getting set to release a flashcom-based cam site script that has way more features than anything else on the market...

java sucks, just bite the bullet

If you have more than a few users it costs $4,500 not $499. Read carefully before you buy.

exactly, who would want to spend almost $5k on chat application?
unless your business is telemarketing or into sales.
