Laguna Beach!!! Who's gonna buy a house there :)

If it ain't berserk criminals and road rage it's now mudslides and shit.

Fucking Laguna Beach houses sliding off their foundations!

This shit reminds me of back in '98 when El Nino caused houses in Malibu to slide.

It's scary that there's so much building in the Glendale hills too! Those houses just looming over us and if there was a landslide it would be a fucking nightmare. The hills are all greened up from the rains and hopefully the shrubs and plants will hold the soil in.

California should be reclassified as a theme park instead of a state.

People will rebuild in the same places over and over too.

my brother owns a house in LB

BuggyG 06-03-2005 11:19 AM

course they'll rebuild
everyone wants a house on a mountainside overlooking those beneath them
even if they know the area had mudslides years before
as lon as they got a house overlooking others
they'll take a chance

Read on CNN it's been about 10 years since most insurance companies removed landslides from their policies. More like the home owners are crying.

Omigosh! You're right! That went along with the flood insurance stuff.

Man, this is going to be interesting to follow.

The price people pay for a house with a view.

Wait, SOME exclusive policies cover damage like this. Depends on who you are and how much you're willing to pay.
