Wait, you actually missed the 50 posts about it on the frontpage?
|
You don't say?
|
Why can't parents just learn to be fucking parents and leave us the fuck alone. My kids don't use the fucking internet without supervision, not because of just porn, because of fucking pedophiles lurking in kid chat rooms. Fuck people are fucking stupid, they don't fucking care about fucking pedophiles abducting their fucking kids but they fucking bitch about fucking porn. Religious fuckers, fuck off already.
|
I haven't read any other posts but isn't this basically a non-issue? ICANN indicated it wouldn't support it unless the .xxx was voluntary? Mabye I'm behind the times.
|
Its a lame idea that won't change anything except a zillion lawsuits.

Once it's adopted, certain countries, cough cough America, will make it a crime to put porn on anything besides a .xxx domain. Then, by the time Neil Bush is president 15 years or so down the road, they'll start censoring at the ISP level. Slipper slope, that's the problem. |

The US also can't make ISPs block porn. If they had that power where in the fuck where they when 976 porn numbers were big? Couldn't they have said that phone companies were not allowed to have such #'s? Too many mainstream companies profits come directly from PORN for the government to stop it. Some mainstream companies would have ANY profits if it weren't for their porn investments. |
Stop the madness.

$60 a year?
Where the fuck is that money going to... |
a new .xxx won't matter anyway...
|
So I see you can buy them at New.net. But isn't part of ICANN, yet. So what if I buy a xxx domain from New.net and then ICANN adobts it...does my domain stay or can I lose it because New.net isn't affiliated with ICANN? Or is the company listed in the article New.net owned?
Thanks. |
