The Jackson trial is on the verge of going to the jury

...and I have followed the trial via Court TV and the E channel reinactment of the days testimony.

In my opinion most...if not all...of the prosecutions witnesses had an axe to grind and were caught in lies when cross examined by the defense.

I do not know what Jackson has or has not factually done...but from what I have seen and heard...I do not think the prosecution has proved a case..."beyond a reasonable doubt".

The prosecutor threw alot "mud against the wall" hoping that some of it would stick...thus I suspect a jury will convict him on some charge...though I personally think that none of the charges have been proved "beyond a reasonable doubt".

My :2 cents:

If you have followed the trial what do you think?

We will be found so guilty! they'll probably kill him in prison.

FilthyRob 06-02-2005 03:46 PM

if he goes to jail, he will never seen general population. He will be in a iron bar hotel.

I think the chance of MJ committing suicide the night before the verdict
isn't totally out of the question. He hasn't been eating or sleeping. This is
even bigger then the OJ case. I have a feeling he is going away :2 cents:

you must be pretty guilty if you still loose after getting the best defense team money can buy.

Who goes with the not guilty of child abuse - but guilty of supplying minors with alcohol verdict?

Jesus a miracle has happened I totally agree with you that the prosecution just tried to throw as much mud as possible with the hope that some would stick.

I would agree that is a fair and just outcome.

seeric 06-02-2005 04:31 PM

i think he will walk and they will try to take his kids away anyway.

bigunns 06-02-2005 04:35 PM

Did you hear that Michael got excited when the judge called a recess???
He said "Oh goody.....time to play with the childrens"

evildick 06-02-2005 04:36 PM

He's going to walk for sure. Maybe they will get the "serving minors alcohol" charge to stick and go for the max penalty (one year in prison) to prove a point.

nnweb 06-02-2005 04:43 PM

even if he gets the serving minors alcohol charge the judge dropped it from a felony already.
