What Was Your Job Before The Adult Biz??
 

I had a hilarious conversation yesterday with someone who has been in the biz for awhile and his job prior to this industry was working at Taco Bell... now he's kicking ass. So, I was curious what jobs you guys had before this biz???

I was a Human Resource Manager for Nike... actually did both jobs for about six months before I finally gave up one on of them. :)

I was the guy who oiled up Vanilla Deville's body before a photo shoot

school and bartending/hospitality

Bartender/Gigolo/Escort 4 Hire

computer tech which I still also do as a part time job.

I was a health care worker for 15 years, did concert security and ran a painting company on the side.

DJ'ed in 6 strip clubs and managed one

Woohoo... a fellow HR person!! :) I did recuriting beforehand as well... but focused on Tech recruiting... which wasn't easy at all. Everyone wanted to be in that field and never had the experience...

i went to school for tool and die but when i realized how long it would take to make some real money i quit and looked for something better, and adult just happened to be that.

medical monitoring for pharmaceutical research (trials on humans for first time) expedited reporting to FDA

I was a "Loan Consultant" for a mortgage brooker down in OC. The money was great, but the stress of working as a middle man between lenders and borrowers is just crazy. That on top of occasional yet frequent 10-12 hour shifts made me say FUCK IT!

I worked at night club as manager :D

I had no idea, kBizzle... so what made your move to this Biz?

Before my gig as Vanilla's oil boy, I worked as a radio DJ, music producer, telemarketer, and had a promotions company which evolved into my current graphic design and printing company. :thumbsup

This is my first proper job, I got into the biz just after I turned 18 nearly two years ago

No kidding?? I worked with Nike-Europe all the time. I managed all the overseas profit sharing accounts along with the US 401 (k) accounts.

Hmmm... worked in a video store, a shoe store, modelled, did some commercials, worked in mainstream comics, worked as an Art Director for an IT company in London, got back into comics, now doing porn comics :)

I was a private investigator burned out quick then traded,bought & sold non-ferrous metals & chemicals ( copper, nickel, zinc etc)

I worked for the same company for 14 years, when I left 2 years ago to do this fulltime I was the manager of the software training and support dept. It was all inhouse software and the company was a fortune 500 company, but I haven't looked back once :winkwink:

Then I'm sure you know him :) He was also involved with signing the talented African soccer players to the US & European teams.

I was one fo the creators of "Jones Soda". We made, sold and marketed a soda pop with a very unique spin to it and it had/has a variety of funky flavors. Its still around today :winkwink:

My brother cold called the right biz in 1998 and I got to see what Webside Story was doing in monthly revenues- I had to gt in this biz after I saw that.

I also loved the free BJ's
