Rambo 4 will be made. Good or Bad news?

Rambo 4 will be back after a 17 year break. Is this good news or bad news?

I was never a big fan so I want to hear other people. I know I would cream my pants for a Indiana Jones 4 and #3 was released 16 years ago so some people are probably really stoked.

perfectodollars-gabrio 06-02-2005 12:44 AM

i'm not sure, but i do think that that movie had its time back then and now people want other kind of things and new stuff, but the reality is that they are running out of ideas IMO.

gangbangjoe 06-02-2005 12:45 AM

bad news because stallone is an old man now and the movie will suck ass

Dirty Dane 06-02-2005 12:46 AM

Indiana 4 is already planned http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367882/ :thumbsup

juve20 06-02-2005 12:47 AM

The rambo movies rocked! I hope they do make a 4th. Hope Sly is in it too.

Yeah, Stallone looks "worn and tired" and older than his age. Probably all the "roids" from his past. :(

Its been planned since 1994 holmes. Don't get too excited.

First Speilberg didnt even want to direct #3 but he agreed to do it to Lucas, his friend, so he relucantly did it. But he was pissed and wanted to direct Rain Man instead.... bah. Oh well, he said he wouldnt do another. Eventually he changed his mind and they started working on scripts. They've had a few scripts that Speilberg and Ford liked that Lucas hated and they fired a few script writers. It will never be done. If Lucas's arrogant doesnt ruin it then scheduling will prevent it.

DWB 06-02-2005 12:51 AM

Good. I always liked the Rambo movies. They are what they are.

Kard63 06-02-2005 12:52 AM

Oh yea, and if they do make it Ford had better get a facelift like everyone else. And do something with that hair.

ModelPerfect 06-02-2005 12:55 AM

Cool. I want to see Stallone infiltrate a concentration camp and kill everyone with his walking cane.

Rich 06-02-2005 12:55 AM

Is he going to be fighting on the side on Osama Bin Laden again like he was in the last Rambo? If he is, I suspect this one will be a little more controversial.

eroswebmaster 06-02-2005 12:58 AM

The original Rambo was a great flick..much like the original Rocky.
Some of the Rocky spinoffs were okay...but none of them were nominated for Best Original Screenplay like the original.
Either way, if they were to do a quality flick like the original Rambo with a real story line and not just a series of explosions then it could be good.

Theo 06-02-2005 12:59 AM

We need John Rambo down in Iraq for liberation to continues

reynold 06-02-2005 02:18 AM

I've read the plot and it's relatively the same compared to other typical action movies...

adonthenet 06-02-2005 02:20 AM

ill wait :)

just a punk 06-02-2005 03:30 AM

Wow! That will be a great movie for sure!!! Rambo will kill himself for helping Al'Quaeda's guys in Rambo III. Hope those "bad" Russians will give him AK-47 so he will be able to shoot his fucking head for sure (unfortunately the US weapon based on M16 series is a shit and cut-offs every time, but AK-47 works perfect all the time). Let's Rambo will commit suicide using at least a well-made rifle LOL

P.S. USA! USA! USA! OAMA + CIA! RAMBO! USA!!!

Lucas and Spielberg approved the script.

Sure!!! Let's help him to liberate Iraq as he already "did" with Afghanistan and help him to rise another Osama! CIA+Osama have already done a "good job" on 9/11. Looking for more??? :helpme

P.S. I just wonder how stupid and blind some people could be... According to official statiscics 70% of US citisens think that Saddam is guilty in 9/11 tragedy. These stupid morons even have no idea that 9/11 is on CIA/Osama/Bush team only...

I thought that the "movie" I saw at CNN on 9/11 was already called Rambo 4. But I don't think it was fun :disgust

nico-t 06-02-2005 04:06 AM

those rambo flicks were pretty cool... would be funny to see a new one i think

Machete_ 06-02-2005 04:07 AM

Sly is getting a better and better actor.. his last movies have been SO good.

I bet it's going to flop

Walrus 06-02-2005 04:14 AM

Rambo 4... I liked the first two Rambo's... didn't like the third. I thought Stallone was going to head in a better direction after he made COPLAND. He was so good in that. He hasn't done too many good movies since then...in fact nothing at all.

Violetta 06-02-2005 04:40 AM

SWEEET! 'Bout time thet brought back some 80's super macho action.

We'll never have another Sly nor another Arnold so this is good news. Clsoest to them was Vin Diesel and he was a joke. Too bad Arnold is too weakened and frailer looking now.... would have been nice to see another Arnold action flick.

The man is 60 years old. I'd say he has aged better than the average human being. I hope I'm in that kind of shape at 60. :2 cents:

60?? Oh shit is he really 60? I thought he was 50.....

FoundrySteve 06-02-2005 05:37 AM

Where did you read that Rambo 4 was in the works? Sly has been pitching Rocky 6 for years, but no one wants to make it... Rambo 4? Blech.

Terry 06-02-2005 05:41 AM

Good news... I always like to see how bad the come backs are.

Gawdy 06-02-2005 05:44 AM

On the basis that the other three movies were shit. Id say bad news

TehKinkyHotness 06-02-2005 07:26 AM

I have actually heard he will be fighting white supremacists in the new film...

Danny_C 06-02-2005 07:31 AM

Is he going to have rocket launchers strapped to his walker?

DraX 06-02-2005 07:34 AM

I heard his gonna look like Yoda and fight with a lightsaber

:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

MandyBlake 06-02-2005 07:35 AM

i've never seen any of them but i'm still going to say its a bad move. :)

Kristian 06-02-2005 07:38 AM

They're not running out of ideas in the movie biz. There are a 100,000 screenwriters and young execs with a million new ideas. Re-makes and sequels are just good business sense. What do I think? I think if Stallone wants to prolongue his career he should stop trying to be a young man, get behind the camera, or make a few decent indie movies to build his reputation into more than an old guy with wrinkled muscles.

Of course, I will watch Rambo4. :)
