Honestly I am not surprised.
The market used to be older 18-34 for most companies.
However they are finding more teens and pre-teens with much more disposable income than in previous years.
Malls are making a comeback etc.

By "disposable income" I wanted to clarify that..not as if children have jobs. however with allowances and much more indulgent moms and dads they are finding that these kids have much more spending power than they used to..and spend it on crap.

i think he meant a 13 to 14 yr old level of intelligence which most of the country operates at and which most media like newspapers/magazines are written and Hollywood movies are produced.
