So I am on the waiting list since March...

For a 100k mgp that was gonna be build starting july 1st by www.************ and after bad communication I get this message:

We've recently had to put all new jobs on hold, until further notice. We simply have too much on our hands and if we divide our attention between even more sites this will just make for unhappy clients and jobs delayed. This is something we don't want to happen and I'm sure none of our clients want this to happen either. I can't say exactly when we'll take on new jobs, but I will make sure to contact you once we do. Of course, we've also stopped taking orders to be added to the waiting list, it's around six months long now and God knows how long it will end up being if we keep adding people to it... I'm sorry for the inconvenience this might cause you, but I'm counting on your understanding for this, as it would not make sense to take your money and not be able to attend properly to the site.

Regards,
DamageX

Can you believe this? So I asked him how much longer do I need to wait. He said he was unable to give me a timeframe. Thats a nice way of doing business there. I have no problems with waiting a bit longer, but wtf is this.

Anyone else who also got this message?

Platinumpimp 06-01-2005 04:17 PM

Having this said. Anyone knows some other mgp builders ?

Relish XXX 06-01-2005 04:17 PM

Did you pay cash up front?

Yeh look dude, I ordered a mgp last year and I never heard back from them. Then I posted somehting on here and it was like I was the one supposed to chase them up, well I'm sorry but I dont think thats great business really. Thats cool, they lost my business, I dont hold anything against them, its just unfortunate that people arent more eager for business I guess, I was looking forward to the mgp, maybe I'll contact them some other time I'm not sure. I didnt pay anything up front, but they didnt want anything.

Sour grapes? Sorry, we never had an intention to reject anyone in the first place. We never PROMISED you to take on your job. We simply added you to the waiting list, as we did with anyone else requesting to have a site grown, and promised you to let you know once we were able to grow it. I DID however apologize for not being able to take your job, something you could actually have taken for what it was, an apology and not an isult. You didn't have to wait or stir shit once we told you we put new jobs on hold. If you were enough of a businessman you'd understand that the effects of the ammended 2257 had to be assessed before further proceeding with this service. Furthermore, making this post out of the blue, without us actually having caused you any damage, is simply unprofessional and just put you on my people-never-to-do-business-with list. Have a good day and good luck hiring MGPBuilders, I hear they're really good. :1orglaugh

I will not contribute to this thread anymore, just had to get this addressed.

YOU never promised me anything, thats correct. Your business partner on the other hand, CraK or something, said that my MGP would be build starting 1st of July.

Now that makes somewhat of a promise don't you think?

Platinumpimp 06-12-2005 11:44 AM

When was the last time you actually got a site stable at 100k DamageX?

Or did you find out the MGP building business is running to it's end and you decided to steal somebody's money.

Very nice business ethics. I will say it once again, you are a complete tool.

PP don't throw insults around just because his rep promised something they couldn't deliver. DX is actually quite good at what he does, hence the enormous waiting list. You didn't pay him anything and he didn't deliver anything so I see no problem. He never told you NOT to hire someone else in the meantime if they could start earlier.

You guys are both good, so stop giving each other a hard time and focus on bringing in the cash :2 cents:

Roald 06-12-2005 12:58 PM

I can understand your dissappointment and all but there is not need to throw mud now, Damage is a good guy who works hard for his money and clients, just like you.

I do think Damage good put up something on his website though about this huge waiting list. At least I didn't see it there right now, might have overlooked it.

If this is the case, then you need to lay off them dude. 1st of July is over 2 weeks away. They've given you plenty notice that they couldn't do it. I'd say thats pretty nice of them

I've had some work done from them before, and its been very professionaly from start to finish.
