Pic Size For Hosted Galleries & Promo Content (PICS)
 

What do you consider to be the optimum size for pics used with hosted galleries and promo content for affiliates.

640x480 - Just big enough for the surfer to see what type of content is offerred.

720x540 - Plenty big enough, if they want the good stuff let them join the site.

800x600 - Give them as close to what they'll be getting in the members area as possible.

800x600 for me

800x600. Galleries make a "first impression", if they see dinky little pics there, they probably think that's what is to be expected of the site. :thumbsup

all ours are 1000x750

800x600 or a little smaller. But make sure that they are sharp.

If I want it any smaller, I have a script to do so. If I want it bigger than 640x480, I can't increase the size without losing quality. The way I see it, give me the good stuff, and I'll go from there. :)

800*600 is good enough for me

I prefer the 640x480 why give everything away before they buy ? :2 cents:

800x600 min, if you ask me!

800x600 seems to work best for us.

that is more than big enough. if the action is taking up most of the actual picture, it doesn't have to be super big.
