I've never done it but I don't think it's that bad. I'd prefer more people go alone when I go so I would know that they would keep their mouths shut during the movie.

I go to the theatre and cinema alone quite alot. I live by two great cinemas. One that shows obscure european films and one that does the mainstream. Often on the way back from work I pop in on my own.

Not a bad thing at all. I do it all the time. Its kinda a great thing to do last minute. Plus, there is nothing more anti-social then the movies. I mean, you dont talk to people really anyways.

I used to be such a movie freak that I would hit the theatres alone in LA at like 10-11 am watch 1 or 2 movies then go by and pick up friends and go back and watch another one with them...LOL
