    From the beginning of May, it offered its customers free software which warns them if their computer dials a premium rate or international number.

    According to BT, 2,000 customers a day are downloading the software.

        I am actually launching a UK dialer in a few months. however mine is fair with the billing and doesnt rip people off. Therefore I doubt any affiliates will push it!

              Gotta say.. I've never thought of that despite dealing with "diallers" for years! :-)

              That was the term introduced (circa 1998/99) when what we know as "diallers" hit and saturated the net.

              Before that time we earned one hell of a lot of revenue from this - it was before they were commonly known.

              But then the scams and bs hit that market and laws enacted to stop the rot - that's when we quit using them. Hell knows, but I must still be owed about $400K by scamming telcos - fat chance of payment now!!
