This weeks article: Are you giving away free hits?
Are you giving away unwanted free hits in your system?
What do I mean by this? Well most people I know and who worked with for example gallery submissions always make sure there is a gallery in each folder index. For example: http://www.thedomain.com/galleries/teenporn/index.html So when surfers surf the system on their own trying to find more porn they usally find it. For some webmasters this is ok but in my own experience I rather send that nosy surfer to some sale place or to feed another project that im working on. So I NEVER leave a page at the index of any folder. I use htaccess to make sure then when the surfer are looking for more porn sneaking around in my system he get redirected to a sales page of some kind. This is how I like it. You might like it in some other way but the 404 traffic this generate are real powerfull instead of showing the surfers more porn or even the same porn they already seen ones. So make sure your pages redirect the 404 traffic and do not make it simple for the surfer to find your other galleries. Do not name them for example gallery1, gallery2 and so on. Name them gallery1, gallery002, gallery03 and so on. Im sure you get my point. If you do alot of gallery posting this will generate ALOT of 404 traffic for you to use as you wish. Inputs? |
404 traffic is actually better to sell. ;)
You can get a very nice price... though some might think you a dick for treating newbs this way... hehe... Or you can send it to something like Rabbits Review. |
Well I would never sell out my traffic. I know plenty of tricks to make more money from it using it within my own network...if you make more money selling it it must be real bad traffic or something.
