Has anyone ever built an arcade game with an xbox or computer?
i want to get one to play all the old nes, snes, and genesis games like they have on xbox. are they hard to build? has anyone done it? where is a good place to get plans/info?

i use to make jamma ones, love those old Konami games.....But havnt done that stuff in a while. The CRT's are expensive and most are shitty, and tought to find decent jamma cases in the area... ebay and google will help you, i believe what you want is keyword MAME

I've done it, can play over 4000 games

Yeah, a mate used to be a programmer for arcade games, they you can either design for sega who use their own proprietory technology which costs a fortune or you can just basically design your game for a purpose built PC... which is what they do, its just a windows box purpose built for their game...
