I wake up and my girlfriend is in the hospital...
 

Last night we went out for a snack. We went to this local restaraunt and she ordered a strawberry iced tea with real strawberries floating in it!


I told her, those strawberries are only for show! Look at them! They looked like runty strawberries. She said nonsense, speared them with her straw, and ate a couple.


I wake up and she's in the hospital. I called her and sure enough she had food poisoning and she's puking and shitting and can barely move. The hospital just sent her home after giving her 3 fluid drips.


Lesson here, do not eat the garnish!

No I have to go over there and take care of her, if I have to clean up barf I'm going to call Molly Maid over while I hit the liquor store!

Garnish or not she shouldn't get food poisoning from them. I would complain without a doubt.

well most restaurants don't put food in the drinks for 'show', but I would definitely tell the restaurant they served rotten food.

Ouch. Nothing is worse than food poisoning. I ate some bad meat or something once and it violated my insides. Never felt worse in my life. And since I've quoted you, can I have your Supra? Prettttty pleassse :winkwink:

prff ... if I go in a restaurent ... and they serve me crappy food, I don't deserve it . The owner will deserve my punch in his face most likely . We are lucky here we have very strict restaurent rules compared to some other places .

Hopefully she gets to feeling better soon. I've had the double barrel food poinsoning a few times myself. Almost everytime has been because of McDonald's, which is why I no longer eat there, and haven't for years.

Food poisoning, especially double barrel will either get you to the hospital, or kneeling by the throne all night.
