Favorite rollercoaster/thrillride???
My favorite by far is the Wildfire rollercoaster at Silverdollar City.
http://www.silverdollarcity.com/rides/wildfire.asp The best part of this coaster is it sits in the ozark mountains and when you're in the loop, you're so high all you see is blue skies, and trees. It's awesome! It's like flying. Batman is good too.. I like the loop coasters. |
Millenium Force at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio

The Big One !! @ Blackpool
http://www.coasterforce.com/photogal...4/DSCF0148.JPG That drop is at the very start of the ride. It takes about 2mins to slowly climb to the top, then it drops at 85mph... |
This pic gives you an idea of the slow climb to the top...

We rode the new one at Busch Gardens yesterday. Sheikra. It was awesome. 90 degree drop and the scariest part is looking straight down 200 feet. It hangs you there for about 5 seconds before dropping. It just opened 2 weeks ago.

I love rollercoasters, shame that there are fuck all in Australia, theres Dream world and they have a good one called the tower of terror, it's a copy of one in USA at one of the flag places, superman I think it's called, might be something else. You guys in USA are spoiled rotten, if I was there I would do a roller coaster road trip lol, be damn fun
|
How much does such a big rollercoaster cost?
|
oh! my gosh! thats really a big rollercoaster, im gonna love to ride that.
|

Im a sucker for wooden rides, the Pegasus in the Dutch Efteling is the longest in Europe, pretty rough too... theyre slower but airtime is less... heres a vid

"X" at Magic Mountain is the best rollercoaster I have ever been on, no contest. It's one of the ones where the front row is worth the wait; Scream and some of the others at Magic Mountain are pretty decent as well. The Xcelerator, Silver Bullet and Ghost Rider at Knott's Berry Farm are all good. I'm usually at one of those two parks whenever I take a day off. If nothing else, it gets me away from the computer for the day.

my favorite ride is definately "rita - queen of speed" at alton towers, uk. its a rollercoaster which accelerates you 0-100kmh in 2.5 seconds, producing 4.7g. feels amazing :)

Sheikra at Busch Gardens is now my favorite. Largest dive coaster in the world. I also love every one at Cedar Point in Ohio.

Yep.... the big one at Blackpool.......
I was on the ride the 3rd time it carried passangers... on opening day. Been on it a load of times since.... fucking awsome stuff The toboggan ride is scarey as hell in Blackpool as well.... Not big but it just scares me |
I like almost all roller coasters. I don't really have a favorite or remember what they were will called at Busch Gardens and Universal Studios in Florida.
|
Busch Gardens has Kumba, Montu, Gwazi, Scorpion, Python and now Sheikra.
Universal Islands of Adventure-Hulk, Dueling Dragons and Studios has The Mummy. Good parks. I am driving to Pittsburgh next week and hitting Kings Dominion, Kennywood and Cedar Point over the next 2 weeks. WOOT WOOT. |
