WTF is 'Checksystems' ???
 

This 'Checksystems' shit is fucking up business! People have to go outside the system just to get bank accounts and checking accounts.

I am totally oblivious to it. How long has it been in effect?

I know a friend of mine had a problem with some sort of 'checksystems' , but it happened when he tried to get a checking account at a new bank. They said he couldn't cuz his check systems report showed bad checks, etc. Or somethin that that effect. No idea if its related tho

It's like your credit report file, except it deals with bad checks.
If you're listed there, forget about opening up a bank account, and they are a bitch to update your info as well.

Ja, I just read up on em'. They're one of several bank account thingies that boots you whether you're guilty or not. Reason I'm asking is I got about 10 emails from people who couldn't sign up via checking account because of this shit.

Here's what happens. Your customer signs up for your site via their checking account. You rebill them as usual. Even if they don't have funds in the account they get charged BUT they get hit with an overdraft fee that's EVIL. Then their account gets closed and it goes automatically into these systems. Now they have to find an alternate way to sign up to your account. Forget it if they use pay by phone and their phone bill is paid through their checking account.

What gets me is these banks and credit bureaus are way above the law. They can charge interest rates that 50 years ago were considered 'usury' and they lord over people! No wonder so many rich people just up and put their money outside of the U.S., it's like some machine is running the banking.
