Given the current rate of globalization/global travel/cultural dispersion via media, the erosion of racial classifications due to intermixing is probably gonna happen. Unfortunately, humanity will always find ways of classifying itself and generating conflict based on those classifications. If it's not one thing... it's another. :(

Very true. In Japan, the BURAKUMIN look exactly like other Japanese but they are looked down upon and historically discriminated against. Same in South Korea, there's a province (I forgot the name) but anyone from there is deemed either a thief or a whore (depending on their gender). Crazy shit how people use geography or religion or even occupation (the basis for burakumin discrimination--they come from a line of grave diggers/butchers/people who work with the dead) to form the basis for fucked up discrimination. :mad:
