so many people talk shit to me like why dont you get off your ass sitting in front of a computer and do real work? they're like so what you make money but its not even work, get a real job...you just play on your computer. LOL wtf, people dont understand how tedious this shit can be...

no i like it because i can say : im earn 10 times the money you earn without leaving my house/chair and.

if it is so easy why are they going to work everyday and why arent they doing the same?

Yea... I have some ass friends that say shit when ever I bitch about working too much. They will say "aw yea, like you work"... and FUCK does that piss me off.

I always love it when people say "man it must be nice to sleep in until 1pm".... Yeah but I went to sleep at 5:00am??! So that is only 8 hours sleep max...

Plus I work from 1pm pretty much until I go to bed... 8 hour day my ass... Try 15 hour day, I only stop for lunch and dinner and usually then I eat and work...

So screw the haters ;)

A lot of people just don't get the concept and good let them sit in thier cubicals and bitch and moan about it. I mean less webmasters and more surfers for me is how I look at it.

If you have a peer group that pisses and moans that you don't do real work because you jockey a desk for a living, you need a better peer group. Fortunately, you probably have enough money from jocking that desk to afford a better peer group. :thumbsup

Okay, on a serious note for a moment... every now and then *I* sometimes wonder if I wouldn't be happier doing a 'real' job. I get an urge to pick up a hammer and go build a house or something.

But then I think "I can make way more doing what I'm doing, and in my spare time I can go volunteer at Habitat for Humanity or something."

If I ever get some spare time, I probably will do exactly that. :thumbsup

a large part of my job is answering emails and helping out afffiliates via ICQ and if someone comes over while I'm working, they think I can just take off and go fuck around...I have to try to explain to them that it's actually work and I hate being interrupted while doing it...my wife doesn't even "get it" most of the time...I have a part time nanny because my wife still feels the need to work outside the home (she is an exec at a casino, so the benefits rock and the money's not bad). She always feels like it's a hobby no matter how much I make...some days, I even sit around thinking "maybe I need a real job"...then I help out another affiliate, talk to my kids teacher(s) on the phone and also work on PTA/PTO stuff....things that would be more difficult to do with a "real job"

their comments are derived from pure jealousy. the more they make negative comments about it, the more you should show off about it and ridicule them right back.

I hate it when they assume I can just get up and walk out on a day of work just because I do it from home. For example, a friend asked me to come up and spend a week at their place. Now, HE had to go to work today but assumed I wouldn't need to work. I had to point out that I would be either bringing my laptop or using his to set up shop.

oh and I hate the 'oh you are so lucky, i would LOVE to work from home' line. For a long time now, I have answered that back with 'yeah? How do you feel about living at work?'

same situation with my GF, sometimes i think it would be better to rent a office and work there instead of home.
