Let me tell you how to make $ on adbrite.
 

Adbrite.com is a great tool for buying and selling ads. I buy ads on big-boys.com all the time for lite porn stuff like dating and other bullshit.

If you're selling ads using adbrite, let me show you how to get impulse buyers to buy ads on you're site.

Lets say you want to sell test ads for $50 a week. Never actually put $50 there. Put $150, then all the way in the bottom put "one week special" and put $50. (you never have to remove the weekly special, just keep it forever) You can trick them into thinking they are getting $150 ads for $50 and saving $100. You have no idea how fast they will buy up the ads. Trust me.

Lets say 3 people buy your ad a week. This will most likely increase it to 5-7, maybe more.

adbrite is cool for sellers for sure....

for buyers, it is tricky to find good sources of income, but once you do, don't ever let anyone know which ones work well, and don't ever stop buying ads until the well runs dry

I wasted a couple of 100 bucks with adbrite.
First of all the estimated clicks were nowhere NEAR what i really got and the few hits i got were a total waste of money.

Im sticking with adwords.

What's up w/ all of the sites that list stats like this:

1-Day Text Link $5.00 1 less than 1 N/A
7-Day Text Link $35.00 7 less than 1 N/A
30-Day Text Link $150.00 30 less than 1 N/A

Was that w/ mainstream or adult (or both)?

I emailed them about it but they didnt care.

I know an estimate is ...an estimate but damn, i dont recall the exact numbers but it was like:

5000 hits predicted and i got like 500 hits.
I had several campaings on several sites and it was the same everywhere.

And its not like they are cheap you know.

I ended up paying a ridiculous amount for a few 100 total crap hits.

I dont think i made 1 sale with a few 100 dollars spent.

I just launched AdBrite on my site ... I had signed up a long time ago and never used it.

My stats on there are all messed up right now ... but I get 15 to 20k visitors a day, and my Alexa rating is MUCH better than it shows on their site. I'm sure you'll get a good bang for your buck.
