Need advice on sending checks from a US bank account!
Hi all,
Our company needs to send out checks (1000+) to clients worldwide weekly. We're based in The Netherlands. The companies that send out checks are available, but we need a US bank account to use their service. So far, all US banks turned us down for being foreigners. The Patriot Act I guess? Does anyone know a service/solution/bank that can help us? Many thanks! |
You might have to register a company in the US before they'll give you a bank account.
I'm not too sure on that. |
True, I've contacted Valis International for that. I was hoping to find a service that didn't need a US company.

Forget it. Theres no US bank thats gonna open an account for you. Like you said PA. Register a DE company and go from there. And if you have to send 1000+ checks, get someone who knows stuff re DE companies first :)

Find out if you bank in the Netherlands has a US associate.
My UK bank opened an account for me with their US division, in NY back in 2000 ... |
If you are with one of the few international money center banks it can be done, but it doesn't sound like you are.
Best best is to establish a US based division of your company. But keep in mind there are tax liabilities associated with that. |
