word is, hayden is a pretty decent actor in his other films. I havn't seen them, so I can't confirm.

my suggestion is find the original laserdisc versions of 4,5, and 6 through the power of the internet.

Supposedly Lucas said he changed it because that was how Darth looked before he turned to the dark side and was how people would want to remember him. Since Obi Wan died when he was older then he got stuck being old, or something like that. It was a stupid reason, but he did have a reason for it.

I don't get why George Lucas keeps fucking tinkering with his movies. The original 3 were classics.. leave them the fuck alone.

Of all the gay changes in the box set - that is one of the bigger ones. I would love for Lucas to come out with a "I have not fucked these up" box set.

Aparently you enter the afterlife in the state that you were in while still using the light side of the force. Obi Won and Yoda never used the dark side so they look older (kind of a burn) and Anikan appears the way he did just before he turned to the dark side.

It's not perfect and if you're a super nerd I'm sure you can pick it apart but I like it.

I still did not watch that movie yet.

They changed Jabba also in the box set.

He looks different again from the Jabba they used when they released the Special Editions in the theatre...

I'm not a huge SW fan, but I hate when directors fuck with their old, classic movies. In the newer DVD versions of the Godfather, they've added some lame musical tracks over scenes that used to be quiet, it fucking sucks the big one.

I think Southpark had an episode that touched on this. Just because you're the director, doesn't mean you should go back and fuck with your old classic movies. They're classic for a reason, just leave them alone!

it makes no sense why he put him in there ,he would be too young . Obi wan is older how did darth vader stay so young.

The point here is that the afterlife look of the Jedi is how he looked when he died as a Jedi. When Anakin becomes Darth Vader he nolonger is a Jedi, but a Sith, thus the Jedi in him is already dead and thats how he looks when he goes to the jedi afterlife..

makes sense if you think about it ...
