Advertise toy-store, where?

I just launched my newest project, www.wetdreamtoys.com and I have some problems.

I have started with the advertising with google adwords but other then this, im not really sure where to advertise or who to turn to. Any help or information is appreciated.

I guess im reaching out for women and gay men, so regular porn-sites aren't interesting.

Let me know what you think!

there are specific porn websites that are for women surfers, I would target those sites.
for example, make freesites with porn for women, submit to those linklists, and have your toy store as an exit link on the warning page of your freesite(s) or have a banner or two on the freesites, too.

Good pointers there, but right now I dont have time to make these freesites so im looking for already established websites for female surfers.

Not only women buy toys.

Your pictures are way too small.

Get an affiliate program going.

Learn or pay someone to do SEO for you.

Traffic is key. I found that bought traffic for toys has gone way doen in value and way up in price.

BTW who would buy from a store with no real contact information?

You are selling more than just toys for women.. link it from anywhere and everywhere you can!

Ya kinda put the cart before the horse I'm thinkin...

You worked on the site and got it all up before ya considered or researched the other 90% of what should have been done at the onset...

yikes. You may want to redesign the site. I had an adult toy store, but it was specialized for pyrex glass toys. I sold it since I had no time to ship stuff. It's still number 1 in google and yahoo for 'glass dildos'. All of the traffic for me was from search engines, but getting basic sex toy traffic is very difficult. You need some kind of unique angle with your store to get traffic from other sources than search engines. FYI, I was #6 in google for the term 'dildos' for a few weeks and I saw no real benefit..perhaps b/c I had specializd dildos, but even the referrer logs were not showing much traffic..Good luck.
