Nirvana - With The Lights Out
 

I happened across this Box Set in a store today and decided to pick it up. Watched the DVD, it was so-so....cool seeing some 1987 Nirvana footage from their basement, but after awhile it got a bit repetitive.

Going to checkout the 3 CDs of unreleased tracks (68 of them!) shortly....

Anyone else get this, what were your thoughts on the DVD / CDs ?

The DVD was decent, could have been longer IMO. The CDs are great, all unreleased recordings. Definitely a must have for any Nirvana fan.

Haven't seen it.

I got it awhile back. I have a ton of stuff from them so it's not as "unique" to me. Still good stuff in there.

As long as radio doesn't beat it to death.

I hated Nirvana, and it was mainly because the stations had to play them every hour even for years after he died. Some of their songs were OK, but not in the amount radio shoved it down our throats while not playing many other good artists of the time.
